Glad you had a good experience; not all cops are on your side.

I love ours also but it is becoming clear that some are part of the problem we are facing. If this comes down to a real Civil War then we are going to see a bunch of people fighting each other that we didnt think we would.

If they burned your truck with you and the wife in it they’d be nowhere to be found.

Why did you leave $7K of shit in your truck?

My wife*

She knows she goofed, and won't let it happen again.

She was borrowing my truck to work (she's a photographer) and got home late and simply forgot to bring it in.

Letting her borrow truck: always a no-no. All of my dents/scratches come from that. Ahhh, that is love...

She just picks them out

I live in a city, police would tell me to fill a report out online and fuck off.

That was a very unlikely outcome in a lot of cities. You're lucky to have such great cops.

You left 7k worth of something in a vehicle?

The police aren't on anyones side but their own.

Nice! Pretty unbelievable that they were able to recover it.

I have to ask why you left $7k worth of gear in your truck.. A trend I notice in my neighborhood is people complaining that their purse has been stolen from their car 5 times. And I can't help but wonder why they haven't learned and continue to support these criminals. Either way, glad your local LEOs were able to come through for you.

Trust me I wanted to scream at my wife for it. But she was already in tears because of her work gear being stolen. She learned her lesson the hard way - but got very lucky. She won't let that happen again

Good for you. But remember the dc cops and Detroit cops arresting Republicans trying to see the count.

The police need to be defunded and demilitarized. The funding that the state peovides creates a bureaucracy that makes the police highly ineffective to do their jobs. The best outcome is to get rid of local police forces and go to a more for profit policing. This would be highly efficient in the fact that private industry is better than public industry.

must have been an easy one

I'm impressed. Stolen goods are usually reported by rarely actually found unless caught red handed where I'm from.

Wait until those same fat fucks "just following orders" are told to come and take your guns or arrest you over something you posted online, defund the police and rebuild as a sheriffs department!
