Personally speaking I don't think we'll get anywhere trying to convince people of a particular message if we don't first open up their minds to things that they have believed for ages which are clearly false.
Physchologically there is a very strong resistance to facing the fact you were wrong - people will do almost anything to avoid facing it (as we have seen).
So I believe we need to concentrate on educating people to think more, watch less TV, or at least get their info from multiple sources (and not all of the same type).
More stimulus should help open up their minds, but I won't be taking bets.
Honestly the left is more of a religion. They are religious fanatics. How do you convince die hard Christian's that there is no god, or muslims that Muhammad was a terrorist. Or the left that skin color doesnt matter?
