My county voted 70% for Trump and my state is red. I emailed my senator and spend WAY to much time on here. If i was in one of the contested states I would have my ass in some group showing up to protest, also, I live pretty damn far from any of the contested state and am the provider for my family so I can't just leave and go support in other states. I do agree though, for those who are able they need to get their asses out there. Not to mention it would be nice if our side would compensate protestors, its not always about buying support, but if you take a week off work and don't have benefits that compensation goes a long way to cover the expenses of staying in a different city and eating out every day.
Want to do something big? Start a fund for protestors and work out how to compensate people for food and lodging, we might be able to get ALOT more people out on the ground that way.
