I want to fly home to see family for Christmas but I'm not wearing a mask for 8 hours. The airline policies seem pretty strict (American or United) and I can't afford to be banned from either airline. Any suggestions on what to do?

i have flown a few times, you can get food and drinks and dont have to wear it then, just eat very slow and keep the drinks going!
