Yep, the whole not reporting the number of cycles is crazy. You run enough cycles on everybody and you could "prove" that the US has a huge resurgence of the Black Plague.

Many of the commercial labs are running the PCR procedure at 40-45 cycles when the CDC recommends no more than 33 cycles to avoid false positives. A lot of these "positive cases" are due to minuscule pieces of the virus that pose no threat of infection.
