Change.org is a black hole where potential signatures go to die. The "petitions" are useless and legally worth less than un-printed paper. It's a place where real causes can go to die, because no one is bothering to actually organize the legal paperwork for a real petition, and all the people who would have actually signed a real one now feel like they have "contributed."

But, if you are a leftist and need to show "proof" that there is public support for something, it's an all you can eat buffet of useless things people have clicked a button for.
