The brainwashing is strong. I can hardly believe that our society has really gotten to the point of being so afraid.

Sue them. They can't tell you what to do on your own time. My boss tried to the same then he apologized

Your work can't tell you what to do on your personal time and if they think they can theres a problem now they can tell you you're not allowed to throw an office party or something
