I already did. You are consuming a product that they're producing. Whether or not we can live without it has no bearing upon the fact that you're willfully engaging in a business transaction with these producers. By your own logic, any luxury beyond our basic necessities is just as worthless as a job, along with any step toward progress. By that same token, anything that isn't food-production, shelter development, and medical treatment aren't real jobs either. We could go back to hunting and foraging by applying it equally.

Yes, they are worthless. A nice commodity? Sure, but they're by no means vital.

People do still hunt for food and forage, especially in remote areas such as Siberia or the far north in Alaska.
