I was contacted today by the GA GOP asking if I'm available to help monitor the recount, which they aren't sure if it will begin Friday or Monday, but from what they said, what will be certified Friday is the audit (or the sham they're calling an audit anyway) and after that is when the recounts actually start in each county.
If that understanding is correct then I think it gives us a bit more time before the actual votes get certified. If it isn't correct then I have no idea why they won't be starting the recount until after certification.
I don't think it is common knowledge, at least I hope not because it's the first I heard of it and I try to stay well informed lol.
They got my "commitment" and will call me back once they know when the recount will actually start (hopefully not Saturday because my butt plans to be at the Capitol); if it's Friday or sooner, I'll ask for more info.
