Depending on how much of an asshole the business you're in is, they can call the cops and have you arrested for trespassing if they tell you to put on a mask or leave and you don't do either.
Whether or not you actually get arrested depends on how shitty your local police force is.
I was confronted by a teenage employee in a local burger place because I forgot my chin diaper at my table when I went inside to get a few napkins. He asked me to put on my mask and I told him "No" and I walked back to my table outside.
Nothing happened, but I was told later that supposedly they could call the cops if they wanted to. I'm curious if this would actually happen in Texas?
