Parents are pissed. I heard about it first from a relative who lives there, they can't have the kids home, she just became able to go back to work, because the kids were at school again. My cousin is beyond pissed, and she's ultra-liberal. She's complaining right now on Facebook that her employer is not willing to discuss remote work moving forward, they need her in the office. She can't afford daycare, and her kids are 12 and 15, and husband can't work from home.
Trust me, the kids will probably be happy, but there's a lot of pissed off parents right now.
Hate to say it but the idiots in NYC deserve what they get. They vote for De Blasio, they vote for Cuomo, they vote for Biden. Tough to complain about the result when you vote overwhelmingly to put fools like this in office.
