Either that, or this miracle vaccine is mostly just a placebo that will do no harm but give the frightened mice a reason to rejoin the world. Of course, that may not work either, because a huge huge number of the mice really don't want to rejoin the world. They actually like the lockdowns and isolation because it excuses their lack of ANY measure of success in the real world)

Trump has demonstrated he is capable of doing what everyone says is impossible. But getting a vaccine to mass distribution this quickly is simple too much for me to believe. Trump didn't just break the old vaccine-to-mass-distribution record, he completely obliterated it by many multiples. There is no precedent for how quickly this vaccine has been produced. I know it's called operation warp speed, but this...
There is so much more to this story that we don't know and may never know. The vaccine had to have been already partially developed prior to the outbreak, that's the only possibility for having it ready this quickly for distribution.
I would think creating a vaccine for a disease is much easier and quicker than creating one for a virus that's constantly mutating. That's why we have something for COVID (disease) but not the actual virus that's spreading around.
Coronavirus has been around for decades. Cattle have had a vaccine for quite some time. I don't think coming up with a human vaccine quickly is outside the realm of possibility.
