As a veteran I am sensitive to this topic but what I don't think Dan accepts is that terrorism has evolved greatly since the days he and I served. Thanks to the destabilization of western nations in EU and here in the good ol USA (Omar), it's no longer enough to stand around in the Middle East soil and I would argue it's no longer even necessary. There is a long play in process with migration and infiltration. The Dessert Storm and Iraqi War days have passed.
