Yeah I saw that too. Very surprising. However, east coast (NY) Asian Americans, from what I gather and experience, are very much against it because it affects us adversely. Tech hiring is also using affirmative action, which we vehemently oppose. I know some people who've put down they are black on their applications to get to the next round.
