Thats why Ezra is there, he's loyal and on our side and put specops directly under him. You know why he has this position at his age? He's reputed to be able to disappear terrorists faster and cheaper than anyone else!

Wray and Barr are waiting in the car for Sessions to finish putting on makeup.

Couldn’t this be any larper?

11
TommyLasordasBallBag 11 points ago +11 / -0

The CM thing 3 hours before the announcement would be pretty coincidental.

2
FlowerNugget46738 2 points ago +2 / -0

Did he say that in the speech? I listened to the whole thing but didn't pick that out.

6
TommyLasordasBallBag 6 points ago +6 / -0

"E" on parler posted "hold the line - CM" under the post title "the best work happens quietly"... 3 hours later Ezra is saying civilian special forces will answer to Chris Miller. A little too coincidental

FlowerNugget46738 3 points ago +3 / -0

Thank you.

TommyLasordasBallBag 6 points ago +6 / -0

No problem. And for the record, I'm not a big Q believer or anything like that.. but this guy got his Twitter nuked for saying something about hunter biden before it was released and BAM two hours later it was released down to the letter.

Is E the handle on Parler?

Any pedes care to ELI5?

Sounds like they're making SpecOps its own department within the DOD that has civilian leadership like the Army/Navy/Air/Space Forces who reports to the Secretary of Defense. This could mean multiple things, more accountability for DOD black operations around the globe and more importantly, that the US is going to start building its asymmetric warfare capabilities.

In other words, US military strategy is shifting away from the conventional standing army occupations to in-and-out special ops while controlling the seas, sky and space. So less Afghanistan nation-building wars and more hits put out on terrorists like Soleimani.

At least that's my guess/hope.

Thoughtful and interesting response.

Thank you for the education.

1
TwoStar 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's what I got from it, that it was an internal DOD organizational change. But this post and many others are saying it put civilian intelligence agencies under Sec Def, which I didn't see in the announcement speeches. Did I miss something?

1
d_bokk 1 point ago +1 / -0

SOCOM is split up between all branches of the military. What I gather is this will be more centralized around SOCOM, which will be headed by a civilian like the Army, Navy and Air Force.

I don't think this has anything directly to do with the CIA, either, if that's what you're asking. Although I suspect this move is to prevent the CIA from fucking shit up like they did in Syria...and, well, everywhere else they go. I would hope covert ops would now go through SOCOM, not those weasels in Langley who should be focused on intel gathering anyway.

32
dukiehazzard 32 points ago +32 / -0

CIA is getting iced out of everything. Because Trump knows what they did.

33
Oculument 33 points ago +34 / -1

"Civilian SpecOps" this phrase is so bad... SpecOps is military, it has a civilian in charge of it just like Secretaries of the Army/Navy/AirForce. That civilian now direct reports to the Sec Def.

Oculument 21 points ago +22 / -1

Hope not, unless he invokes the Insurrection Act first then .....

Oh wow. I just read up on the Posse Comitatus Act. That won't apply to the new SpecOps force because they are NOT named in the Posse Comitatus Act.

So, yeah maybe that is what it is for.

There is no civilian in charge of SOCOM until just now - A/SecDef just made himself that civilian.

congruent 3 points ago +3 / -0

DING DING DING DING.

A civilian.

who is a Trump supporter.

Who reports to Chris Millier.

Who is a Trump supporter.

Who reports to...

Trump.

1
kornesque 1 point ago +1 / -0

I thought what separates SpecOps is their operations are authorized by the legislative branch, even if directed by the executive. Meaning congress can't tell Trump, "No, we won't authorize the raid/capture of Soros" now.

2
Oculument 2 points ago +2 / -0

Uh, no it was never like that. That would be completely impractical to say least. For funding and general admin stuff SpecOps gets congressional budget allocations just like the rest of the armed forces but "legislative branch" does not get cut into operational chain of command, not for regular military and not for specops.

1
kornesque 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thanks. Maybe I've watched too many movies.

29
Jarsyl 29 points ago +29 / -0

Since SpecOps report directly to him, and he’s a die hard Trump supporter, I wonder if there’s about to be a raid somewhere that they don’t want botched by the swamp in the DoD.

I read up on the Posse Comitatus Act. That won't apply to the new SpecOps force because they are NOT named in the Posse Comitatus Act. Loophole/workaround created.

3
Ruined 3 points ago +3 / -0

Would a state of emergency suffice in this case?

5
AnathemaToLeftists 5 points ago +5 / -0

Like the one declared in 2018 for election interference that is still in effect?

2
Jarsyl 2 points ago +2 / -0

True. I should have clarified, however, I was referring to the raid done to get access to the server in Germany, and wondering if there would be more like that.

2
FearDaNazgulz 2 points ago +2 / -0

I can only hope. I've been relatively patient with these cucks and traitors, but after antifa attacking Trumpers after the DC rally and the guy doxxing that ladies kids in Michigan...I'd say they won't be missed win the Insurrection Act gets used

15
Fuckoffgoogle 15 points ago +17 / -2

Uh what now? What is this even about. Context is important o.O pls explain “Civ. Spec ops” what even is that

3

From another reply:

3
mntrump2020_SMS 3 points ago +3 / -0

what is "civilian special operations" and why have i never heard of them before?

1
LeviC 1 point ago +2 / -1

What does this mean? Especially after what Chris Miller said.

1
TheyBernedTheirCash 1 point ago +2 / -1

What does this mean for our cause?

2
TX2013 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think it is a good thing, by passing FBI, CIA, DOJ, that’s what I have found through research. Hope I am right. Just listen to the tone of the speech, very pro Trump and invokes JFK. Also Ezra Cohen worked with Devin Nunes.

Is he talking to an empty parking lot? This is hilarious!

24
brutustyberius 24 points ago +24 / -0

Not a Biden speech.

10
Thep1mp 10 points ago +10 / -0

Generally press releases are like this. It isn’t a Trump rally....

2
ChickNorris 2 points ago +2 / -0

Especially on secured military bases. Can't bring a big audience through the gates.

2
FlowerNugget46738 2 points ago +2 / -0

No he's at a base or memorial. The acting head mentions the Significance of the place in his speech

1
TX2013 1 point ago +1 / -0

Any idea where this took place?

2
2
TX2013 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thanks, so that is the Green Beret memorial next him. I like to understand the imagery in context with the speech.

2
congruent 2 points ago +2 / -0

Don't down vote this guy.

It's hilarious because it's for security.

How many people now want this man dead?

A lot.
