Mental illnesses are real, I suffer from Depression and anxiety. Guess what, I am a baptized and saved Baptist Christian. To denegrate those who suffer from any mental illness is hurtful and foolish. Mental illnesses are not punishment for sins.

“Mental health” these days is indeed a big business and a way for vain people to be vain and remain victims. Big time.
That being said, bipolar and schizophrenia are both very very real. Acting as if they’re not and trying to tie it in with some faux biblical teachings is dishonest.
