How did we get so high with so few members on T_D? My guess is reddit stats are done by Dominion. Never forget the 6 million!
It's possible that reddit kept us down by a LOT, but it's also possible we're just bigger now than how we were on r/T_D. A lot of lurkers on here, maybe.

I actually have one genuine gripe with this site - a post can hit the top of “Rising", but where does it go from there? I assume near the bottom of "Hot", but you’d have to scroll for a long time to reach anything outside of the previously stickied posts.

Yeah, to be honest it kind of bugs me a little that the front page is always completely filled with posts that the mods stickied as soon as they were posted. Don’t get me wrong, they do a great job of it, would be nice to see more organic stuff reach the top though. We have upvotes for a reason.

One thing collectivists always fail to understand is that it's the people, not the organization, that is successful. They get into positions of authority in successful organizations like reddit, then they turn into mini-tyrants and chase away all the people who actually made it great in the first place, because they think that since the organization is great and they're in charge of it, that means they are great and can use it to do great things. Then they fail hard, and the people they chased away go somewhere else and make their new place great.
