Agreed, but I post on there so my friends/family can see what I've been up to in my travels. Seeing that disclaimer surprised the heck out of me because there's usually hundreds of photos I can look through.
They are afraid of them powerful memes! They admitted it themselves. Next thing we gonna spend tax dollars on Democrat funded meme detectors. And then we are gonna call racist that they begin shadow banning frogs across the entire internet!
I've done exactly the same - I post under a business account on instagram (even though it's not much business and mostly travel). I unplug for a few months every year and it's the most fabulous thing! Very rarely do I post a lot of info on facebook, or use it for much, aside from touching base with shipping friends. I use .win as my news source. I just rock out to my music (CDs or on my iPad) in my car.
I was trying to check out a hashtag from a place I visited a few weeks ago, and was scrolling down to look at other peoples posts (before I posted my own shot) and found this. No WONDER I've had horrible views and such lately, they're hiding everything even if the hashtags aren't political (photos in question aren't mine)
I know facebook bought Insta, but didn't think they were stupid enough to move their policies over here too.
Guess I'm gonna wait on posting before I do anything.
Instagram needs to burn as well. Influencers need to be gone, I'm sick of social media.

So they just removed all hashtags???
It looks like it ! So anything under ANY hashtag, not just political ones, are getting suppressed.
We would be happier without all of them.
Lol, Yes, Visiting our National Forests and National Parks, and wanting to see other peoples photos from it, is SO dangerous!
