Hoping for a successful recovery, friend. A 4 year old should have the strength to heal and the maturity to chill out and heal properly, I'd say he's in a good position. I'm sure you're aware that you'll be babying him along for a month or more, hopefully he remains calm so he can heal without irritating his wounds. They'll get him fixed!

I hope you’re right. I’d give anything for that to be the case. The new surgery, the vet said he attached the intestine to some that was less inflamed than the first surgery so hoping that it takes and sticks better than the first time. But also said statistically of it doesn’t stick the first time, even greater chance it won’t the second. We shall see. He’s my best friend and first dog as an adult. He will pull through 💪🏼
