He’s had intestinal surgery to remove a sock. First surgery on Sunday his intestines didn’t stay stitched up. So he had basically last ditch effort surgery to try and save him today. We’re on a 2-4 day time table to try and turn things around. He’s only 4 years old and named Levon, after my favorite drummer. Hurts so bad to be typing this and I don’t know what I’d do without him but please any help, I appreciate. Much love Pedes.🐶🇺🇸

Best wishes to Levon. My pup had intestinal surgery from eating half a corn cob out of the trash on 4th of july. She pulled through, hopin the same for Levon

Did they have to cut the intestine in half and stitch two ends back together or was it more like a slice it opens an pull it out? My boy has had the 2 ends stitched back together and according to the vet the likelihood of it healing correctly and staying together aren’t very good.. he’s still young, 4 years old 😔

They had to cut and remove about 10” of her intestines and reattach. The blockage was there for almost 3 weeks before she presented any symptoms. The area around the corn cob had to be removed.

Also she was 4 when this happened, she’s 6 now.
