Yeah. I have hard a time believing Barr isn't at least trying to do something. The problem might be that his subordinates aren't listening, or they're slow walking whatever it is they are are actually doing.
I forget the dude's name, but there was supposedly someone that worked with Barr, and didn't want him to give the clearance to investigate this election stuff. So, Barr went over him and did it any, so the dude quit because he said he refused to be a part of any of this.

It just seems like if he was actually completely useless, we would hear more from Republicans in power that are fighting for our side, like Ted Cruz, for example. Maybe they know something we don't. While we the people hate him, it doesn't seem like he gets the same Treatment from Republicans in power. At the same time, it seems like Democrats hate him. I'm not sure if it's all an act, or they really have reason to hate him.
