Not a doomer, just thinking. I feel like there was a time where everybody wanted to preserve the system and the integrity of the nation even if it meant your side lost. (This may be a romantic view of the past)
I feel like portion of the population who just want their side to win "by any means necessary" is coming close ot equaling or outweighing the portion that view integrity as the goal.
Republicans belive in the system and most want to find fraud and rule breakers regardless of side. I feel like we ostracize any "republican" who violates the constitution or law. The other side won't.
Sorry if it's a bit rambley, but I'm curious to hear yalls opinions on this and if you think that may be the threshold that does us in.
Yep....if the right doesn't adopt the same philosophy, at least temporarily, we'll lose. The thing is, we don't have to do it extra-legally...the laws that we need to use to win are already in place, the GOP either doesn't have the balls to use them, or are actually complicit. We just need to RUTHLESSLY enforce the laws, including death penalties for treason.
Agreed with ruthlessly enforcing the rules.
I don't think we will adopt the "by any means" view though, it goes against the core principles. We may see "as far as the law permits" which would be a huge improvement over the current situation, but the other side is ready and willing to cheat lie and steal to get their way
I agree that should be tried first, but no counter insurgency campaign (and that's what we're dealing with here) has EVER been successful by playing by the rules. They control all the levers of social power in this nation...the media, the schools, big tech, unions and even our religion these days. All backed up by Billionaires who view nation state as a hinderance to their power and wealth. Playing by the rules plays into their hands...just look at what happened with the Biden story. Gaslit into subatomic particles. Any attempt to take them on through traditional means will get the same result. Every generation coming out of the schools and into .gov or .biz is more radically leftwing than the last. We're going to have to go Pinochet or we are going to lose this Republic.
Trump gave us 4 years, I hope he can give us 4 more, but unless he's got something up his sleeve, it's not looking likely. But he was and is, only a speed bump to the globalist elites. Look at the current GOP and ask yourself who's there to replace him? Jeb? But here's another issue: what did our "conservatives" do with those 4 years, two of those in which they controlled all three branches? They fucking worked against him in 2017 ans 2018, and grudgingly gave him some tepid support in 19 and 20 (with a few notable exceptions). Thus we know that the people on our side, the ones committed to "playing by the rules" only really care about themselves.
I'm thinking summary firing squads and public hangings, old school.
Ha, I'm pretty sure the constitutional punishment for treason is hanging. There hasn't been an amendment to change that so we may see some soon.......
I think the execution details wear 1776 uniforms and firing squads use black powder musket ball. Just for the GRINS and symbolism.
Our founding father's were kinda by any means necessary when it came to freedom. A reread of our declaration might come in handy. I would say we might be in the destructive to those ends territory right now.
Not if we kick in and use the same tactic against them.
If we lose its over. Some pushing for more "extreme" measures. What i learned from Iraq is the more you show the people youre not the enemy the more likely they will accept it and join against tyranny. I know bush just wanted sadam and the oil but those people were fucked and obama let them die. Ill never forgive or forget.
I agree. The reason they're taking these risks is because they are so close to achieving their globalist, totalitarian regime. Imo, Trump needs to end the CIA.
