It appears to be, but I wonder why. Why would they stick to their symbols to the point of it betraying their plans? A few possibilities:

-they're mocking our inability to stop them

-it's a way of signaling to their team members

-(heard this from Alex Jones) they think it will lessen the karma for their evil deeds if they broadcast them in advance, even if they do so enigmatically, because they technically warned us
