WW2 was started by the Second Sino-Japanese War. Japan and China had been fighting each other since 1931, however, China joined the Allies in 1937. (2 years before Nazi Germany’s invasion of Poland) While the Invasion of Poland definitely didn’t help, Nazi Germany didn’t start WW2 on its own.
