But if Iraq is any indication, things could get bad no matter what resources or organization they, no matter what actually happens, and no matter what resources someone has to fight it.
People are glorifying war and violence a little too much I feel. With nuclear weapons in the picture... it would be bad. We have not really exhausted all our legal process either.
The problem is for a lot of us it’s not a simple issue. If a war breaks out a lot of us might get killed just because we can’t even properly vet who is on whose side. I’m sure if you served in Iraq or Vietnam you must be aware of that problem, and it would be even worse here. It would be horrific. That doesn’t even get into the effects of what happens to those of us who cannot get food. What happens to our overseas military. Who will cut deals with foreign leaders? If the infrastructure goes out what happens to the nuclear power plants?
What happens to all the nukes and who controls them? This is not a simple question and it’s terrifying.
The rhetoric on all sides is bad at this point. And it’s not just the rhetoric it’s the actions too. This is not what the founders imagined for us, and I’m not sure humanity is really capable of controlling the power we have learned how to control.
