I think he'd be fine. But I want to know his pro-life views before I position him before the Lt. Governor.

He’d be better than lockdown Abbot just to appease the idiotic big city Dems.

I've listened to quite a few McConaughey interviews lately because of his book release. I feel like he'd lean more right but I can't quite put my finger on him. He did spend a lot of time growing up in Austin and lives there now (Blueberry of a red state), and he's in Hollywood so idk he could also be super left wing.

All fair points. But his BeachBum movie sucked.

Man i liked that movie more than the last few harmony korrine movies.

While I do think movies should stand alone ans be able to be enjoyed with no pretentious shit, or knowing the director, i thought McConaughey's acting was on point in that flick even if Korrines movies are mostly directionless art film.

Dude actually comes across as a secret trump voter after seeing all his interviews lately. Is at least open minded and seems to genuinely want unity.
