I have been shopping at the same Walmart for years. In a community with 10% black demographic. And much like you " I started noticing dozens of new guys working there, all in there twenties. Some black, some mixed, and some white. But I had never seen any of them before, and neither had my gf(wife). To top it off, they all looked...alternative" except I would use the word aggressive instead of alternative. And I didn't see the white crew. This was all black. Not a drop of kindness or interaction given by normal staff. Just wide eyed stares, where you see the whites around the entire iris. Left me feeling very uncomfortable. It was actually the moment I solidified my desire to sell our newly custom built home and "flee" to safe state. May sound extreme but I have a young family and there are a lot of variables at play.
