How do we feel about Lion/Lyin Ted? I've been generally impressed with him since Trump at him for lunch in 2016

Yeah, he's just better at reading things than the others. He saw that MAGA was going to take over, but he'd throw us back under the bus if he felt it would help him.

Ted's changed a lot. Nobody made me the pope of purity for these guys, but at this time, I trust him.
Back when he was silent on the border, picking Fiorina as his running mate, and some other stuff, not so much.
What I'm looking at is that he's been on point and in the fray, not backing down during the attempted steal. This is the time that people expose themselves. Crenshaw tried to move the agenda to dump OUR PRESIDENT forward, so he's on the never support list. Cornyn is hiding under his desk, as usual.
Abbott WAS, IMHO, pretty good, but went wobbly with the masks and shut down orders.
Primary Crenshaw and Abbott. Keep Ted. Cornyn, boot if we can find someone better, but he's there for six years, so no point in worrying about him until after 2024.

I'm from Texas and I support this message.

Dan Patrick seems to be the man.

For me, Ted is mostly on our side. But he's not a results kind of guy like Trump. Where would we be now if he had won four years ago instead of Trump? Even if Cruz has an identical agenda to Trump there is no way he has the backbone or fortitude to push through changes come hell or high water like Trump. Would we have new walls at the southern border? Peace deals in the middle east? Troop withdrawal? Covid vaccinations? Etc., etc.

I think that Cruz would have nominated good supreme court candidates, however.
