They have been indoctrinated hard into guilt. On top or real misdeeds the Nazis did is a pile of fake ones, many times higher. The fake history and pushing of the guilt was more in E Germany than W. They also have an unfortunate tendency to trust government.
It's very ironic. Their guilt and avoidance of their past is precisely what is going to lead them to repeat it.
Not just the misdeeds. We've elevated the sins of the Nazis while completely ignoring the sins committed by others. Why is there no Holodomor museum in DC? Why no museum to the victims of Mao's Great Leap Forward. Both killed more people than the Nazis, yet Germans alone have been conditioned to believe they carry some unique national sin.
And that's before looking at the Cambodian killing fields, Turkish genocide of Armenians, all the farmers killed by Che, the list goes on. Why does one nation have to take all blame for all the evil committed over the 20th century? Where are the moody black and white films letting the people know about these evils?
Because they are white christians. The commies hate white christians. It's the same for the US & Slavery. Why are whites blamed for slavery when everyone practiced slavery and the US whites were the ones ENDING slavery?
