As someone in a corporate field where everything LGBT and female gets celebrated constantly (though I think there is a time and place), I use Mens day to get men's issues on the corporate agenda. The fact is, men make up more of the suicides, and more of the workplace deaths. Push it in their faces. Maybe men make 5% more than women, when controlling for everything relevant, but men are still 20:1 on workplace deaths.

IDK about other wives, but every day is mens day in my house. He provides for everything we receive, and does it without asking for any recognition. He makes sure the house it's fit for habitation and the car is safe for use. As I dont drive due to medical issues he makes sure I get to my appointments and anywhere else I need to go. Without him my life would be empty and without happiness. I try to make sure he knows that every day.
When I was a kid my dad took me to a ballgame. They announced an upcoming ladies night where women get half priced tickets. My dad said, "They got ladies night, grandparents night, family night (kids get in half price), report card night. When is average white guy night? When do I get in half price?"
