I have no clue his political leanings but, for the sake of being fair: Shortly before the election, he was being interviewed and was asked his thoughts on Trump. He refused to answer; said he would need an entire interview for his response and also stated he didn’t want to be taken out of context or his words to be twisted. Also, his wife became an American citizen roughly 5 years ago and was very proud about it. This was during Obama and it was very refreshing to see at the time.
I respect the man as a person, have numerous personal anecdotes to back that up, but I’m not so sure about him as a politician.
