Sincere question ☭ Far-Left Media ☭
posted ago by Remorseful ago by Remorseful +15 / -0

Good morning everyone, this is my first post. I think I'm like a lot of people on the so-called left. Don't care about BLM morons, [email protected], fuck antifa grad students, just want good wages, shops on main street, tax on millionaries. Zoned out of 2016 election after Hillary won primary. Laugh if you want this time I unironically felt like there was an opportunity for ordinary people with Bernie; to be honest I even ordered flyers and went canvassing for him in our (blue) neighborhood. Well big surprise, suddenly everyone else bows out leaving sleepy joe. Overnight it was as if everyone had Biden portraits above their beds. The most scathing critiques of the process still ended with a vow to vote democrat no matter what. Now I'm like "them" (that is, you guys) if I'm not voting for this crook? At this point I was more than just zoned out, actively looking for more critical voices, finding this place to lurk... Meanwhile my wife is doing the same thing without me knowing. Well since the election "ended" we're more alienated than ever. It's jarring to see the fake enthusiasm and apathetic acceptance of the "president-elect" and condemnation of DJT's calls for a fair process in 99% of all media spaces and among basically everyone else i know irl. How many work emails begin with the unnecessary "so glad Biden won"? The insistence that "the world has moved on" is so strong wherever you go. Everyone has taught themselves to forget about Hunter's laptop, they don't want to hear a word about Dominion. It's all in the past now. It's just absurd that we're all supposed to pretend there was nothing SYSTEMATICALLY wrong with this election. At the same time there's people like you that keep up the fight and take seriously their civic duty to participate in the democratic process. I think any hope to amend the whole process and system begins here, not on the democratic side, which is all Zuckerberg "grants" and fear mongering anyways. at the same time I'm worried about a potential future where 5-10%of people =you guys think the election was.stolen, and most people just don't know or care. Sorry I'm rambling but I do have a sincere question: the actual recounts I've seen don't seem anywhere near what would be needed to flip whole states. If Giuliani's and most of the state level lawsuits are doomed to fail (as every mass media outlet seem inclined to tell me), what would realistically be needed at this point to overturn the "results" of the election in a way comprehensible to someone like me? Alright off to work. Thank you!!

(as every mass media outlet seem inclined to tell me),

There's your first problem right there.

Your second problem is not having an understanding of how elections work (mainstream media prays on that), popular votes do not decide elections. The recounts don't HAVE to flip the state, only show enough evidence of widespread fraud to show in court which has happened already. The election will either be decided by electors, (as it always is), or, it will end up in the courts.

Either way, Trump is going to be your president for the next 4 years.

Instead of making anymore rambling posts, you should really probably just kinda lurk for a while, you'll be able to pick up a lot of facts, and learn a few things about election law. Your next post won't be such a flag on your ignorance. (Not trying to be rude, but you are ignorant in how elections work, not meaning that you are an ignorant person or anything, it's just painfully obvious you're pretty clueless, probably not your fault, media/ dems keep you guys "dumb" for a reason)

Fair enough! I'll do just that, and keep my fingers crossed for more evidence accumulating

Also, if haven't already, might wanna expand your news sources to include Newsmax and OANN, they report more on just facts rather than try to just agendize everything. In particular reporter Chanel Rion (OANN) and Emerald Robinson (Newsmax) OANN = One America News Network, BTW.

Its not about gaining more votes to win. If there is any fraud in any results they can't/shouldn't be certified.

This was always going to the SC. Anyone who doesn't realize that there is so much corruption at the state level that we're never gonna win that fight.

I remember sitting with my son on election night and watching the coverage. He was so nervous. I told him, just relax buddy. We won't know the winner for weeks, maybe months. I went to bed and slept soundly because I knew how this was going to play out. I've had a few down moments of doubt creep in whenever I started watching the propaganda but I'm so glad to find thedonald.win to keep me grounded in reality.

I'm so glad I found this place too (through reddit, ironically) -- it's a huge breath of fresh air

Hey man, firstly welcome here. I think you are like what I used to be - classic liberal. Left veered off that lane long ago and I did not even realise it.

Look, as far as recounts etc are concerned, there hasn't been a single recount that follows the process and verifies signatures correctly, and lets GOP observers watch meaningfully. Even without that there are too many irregularities (like in Michigan).

But I want to give you a background of the fraud. There were two levels of fraud. I call them Wholesale (Where the voting machine software changed the votes in real time and without making it easy to spot) and Retail (Late night ballot dumps, kicking observers out, ignoring signature match, processing same batch 50 times, batches with 99.5% for biden, batches which are all neatly printed, no down ballot, no creases, etc)

Wholesale can switch votes around 3-5%. At the top end it would push itself to limit and end up showing glitches on TV where Trump votes dropped, and Biden's increased by the same amount. So I assume they did full 5% in Wholesale.

Since Wholesale was not enough to make Biden win, they were desperate and did the Retail - and these were the obvious frauds that most of the focus is about (especially the court cases).

There are couple possibilities:

  • Proper recounts are done and it shows Trump won

  • Not enough states can certify the EC count, and it ends up going to state legislature / contested election - Trump will win

  • Some cases might go to SCOTUS - I personally think this is not going to happen since SCOTUS will take the case only if its result is going to decide the elections

  • Trump exposes the Wholescale fraud in his own spectacular fashion, and in the process also expose Media and Social Media complicity - probably sanctioning them, and ensuring they don't censor the truth. At which point majority of the people will be faced with this fraud and there is no way they can hide from it.

Just so you know, the theory thats floating around and we all tend to believe in - this Election was a massive Sting operation, and a lot of people got caught in it. Even as we speak the deals are being made behind closed doors with the deep state and the whole recount, court action is just a distraction. There is plenty of indications to suggest this. Mainly, Trump has started purging the DOD, CISA, etc and putting good loyal patriots in charge. Also, if this was not true, he would probably have been forced to concede by now.

Anyway, the mood here is upbeat and we are all pretty optimistic at a victory and exposing the deep state.

If you think Trump was not prepared for this consider this: He claimed election fraud in 2012 elections, long before anyone else brought it up seriously. And he has been repeating it ever since. Also he issued this EO in 2018 : https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/executive-order-imposing-certain-sanctions-event-foreign-interference-united-states-election/

This is extremely well crafted and covers everything, including foreign interference (hence the focus on ownership of voting software in recent days). Pretty much everything he needs to do the sting operation. It even covers media and as per the definition, what they are doing now (disinformation) will fall under this EO.

Cheers!

Thank you so much, this is extremely helpful and informative, more so than anything I've found, well, anywhere. Your distinction between"wholesale" and "retail" makes so much sense and the actual content of the executive order helps me put this in a longer-term context as well. The mood here is certainly contagious and makes me feel optimistic as well about any of the possibilities you mention. Thanks again and have a great day!

This is a LARP. If you're even 5% serious just go read A Foreign Policy of Freedom, by Ron Paul. Learn about the economy, our affairs abroad, and trade. Once you have a nice libertarian base layer go read the Art of the Deal and How To Think Like A Billionaire by DJT and discover meaningful compromise and deal making skills. Then, forget everything you heard about identity politics, we don't play that shit.

Thanks for the advice!

Just think about how many times the media has been wrong over the past four years. Every few weeks it was "we got him now" or "the walls are closing in on the Trump administration". Poll after poll after poll that did nothing to predict the election. Maybe this will be the time they are right, but their track record is garbage. If you were hiring an investment firm that was wrong this often, would you keep hiring them? At this point, I just assume the opposite of what the media sends my way is the truth.

Seriously this is a reasonable starting point. Thank you

That’s a fine question.

I’d first want to ask you how, exactly, your beliefs conflict with the now four year track record of our fabulous president, and how Hiden’s proposed policies would do so better. Totally appropriate to discuss that in a separate post :)

Having said that, it seems to be the opinion of many here that Trump can win in the courts, the Supreme Court or by actually exposing enough illegitimate Biden votes. The subtext, IMHO, is that all this drama plays out to drum up massive popular support for national voter ID / chain of custody / blockchain / insert fair elections method here.

It's the third option you mention, finding enough illegitimate votes, that i haven't quite wrapped my head around. The larger-scale prospect of mass support for democratic reform and accountability for the benefit of citizens seems so utopian on it's own, but as you say, should be the byproduct of all these more urgent maneuvers. It's so exciting :)

Just briefly (and sadly) i think our own shift over the last four years is less in response to the President's track record than a reaction to the collective hysteria of the liberal types that we're surrounded by. That resentment is still a big part of it to be honest. There's been so much to celebrate during this period, I just wish I got out of my little bubble a bit sooner.

I agree. Not that I needed another nail in the coffin, but I was deeply dismayed to watch the dem primaries and see all 3500 candidates stood for the exact same party line, which appeared to be “2016, but harder, and maybe if I’m gay you’ll like me more?”

You won’t find a lot of love for establishment warhawks here either, fwiw. Look at all the hate he got during GOP primaries.

Anyway, I personally respect folks who thought they were dems because they’re big hearted and care. I (again personally) just think folks who stay on the left because of that probably aren’t paying attention well :)
