This and Waco are all the evidence you need to know that the deep state existed and had just as much control over the media and people's perspective then as they do now.

In fact, I'd argue they had more back then as there was no internet so people couldn't nearly as easily verify facts as they can now. Back then, all you had were documentaries and sub-channel news which basically made you a "nutjob conspiracy theorist" and/or "the next Timothy McVeigh".

There’s simply no disputing the fact that the guy was a hero.

a quick search says: "Even after his name was cleared with the help of a lawyer named Watson Bryant — even after domestic terrorist Eric Rudolph pleaded guilty to the Centennial Park bombing and three other attacks in 2005"

Here is some more.

William Barr was Attorney General when Ruby Ridge occurred and after he left office, he spearheaded legal efforts to assure total immunity for the sniper who killed Mrs. Weaver and any federal sniper who behaved similarly.

Don't forget McCarthy.

Even today he's spun as an insane conspiracy theorist.

Now AntiFa, literal communist terrorists, are burning our cities down. And we're told they're the good guys by the Democrats and MSM in power.

To cover up their own inept/corrupt/criminal actions. Someone needed to go down. Sad, but true

Remember the militia movement, before and after Waco and Weaver and Oklahoma City-? Many people today are convinced that militias were to blame and that they are now "illegal", thanks to the controlled media of that day.

For the people coming here ready to go hard on Koresh and the like:

-YES dude was a fucking puke. No way around that. A lot of people like that are.

-It isn't about one man's character. It's simply about STATE V INDIVIDUAL. That's it.

-This has and always will be about exactly what the state will do to excuse itself and justify its actions. This is where your attention is needed.

5
Dallasguy 5 points ago +5 / -0

That's directed at me. I met DK and he invited me out to his ranch when I was a teenager. One of his followers eventually ended up getting a female friend out there which caused the end of our relationship and sent her life in a bad direction. Those people were all crazy child-molesting pieces of shit. Sorry the government killed them but they had every chance to end it, unlike the Weavers. It's why I always resist lumping the two together. Weaver literally did nothing wrong.

3
Virtigo31 3 points ago +3 / -0

I 110% agree with you. The dude deserved more than death, to be honest.

That being said, nothing excuses what the government did to the peripheral casualties. Nothing at all. Which is what I firmly believe was the dynamic they were trying to convey. To get the public to slowly accept when the government should step in when it comes to the individual.

Regardless, I'm extremely sorry for what happened to your friend.

4
Dallasguy 4 points ago +4 / -0

And I agree with you. We locals were very supportive of the government agencies, as we all knew about them and their refusal to let CPS inspectors in. We learned the shit the government had done when Rules of Engagement came out, and it was a bitter red pill for most of us.

Thanks. She is alive and well now. I spoke to her a couple years ago. I just always want to get it on record that those fucking cultists were pieces of shit.

This was a horrible story during Bush/Reno era.. buried by MSM, and Rush limbaugh never really talked about it. You tube may have Chuck Harder or Harter episodes on this evil done to this family. The only redeeming feature was Gerry Spence the Laywer really got some exposure of the evil done by the FBI. that's when I knew NEVER trust these people. If I recall Comey, Mueller, Barr, etc were all involved in this and most all of these fbi scum were promoted, given raises etc. Evil evil alphabet agency paid for by your tax dollars....

Yeah I agree. I did a mini dive for the time being and it totally seems like the letters tried to set dude up. Multiple undercover attempts, parole officer fucking his hearing date over. Idk if the original "threat" was real, but seems like if it was they wouldn't need to go to the lengths they did. Even after all that, the order to shoot any armed adult on sight was beyond fucked up.

If memory serves, an FBI informant pushed to sell Weaver a shotgun that was not sawed off, but shortened to below the legal limit while looking like a factory barrel. Weaver ended up buying it just to help the guy out, and the court dates Weaver missed were because he didn't know about them or was told a different date on purpose.

1
deleted 1 point ago +1 / -0
2
Dallasguy 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thank you. And I agree with you that I don't believe it either. Scarier still is how the "official" story has changed over the years .

I'm certain that what you said above is well-sourced, but I am equally certain that at one point they accused him of having "sawed-off" shotguns though no sawing had ever taken place. It was a term they used to the courts and the media to paint a picture.

Lots of evidence out there that the entrenched bureaucracy is not to be trusted.

12
Libertynfreedom4ever 12 points ago +12 / -0

Dude moved out with his fam in Idaho to be like “leave us alone we don’t trust the government”. They didn’t like that he bragged about having a lot of guns, etc. Got him on selling a gun illegally (was basically entrapment). He didn’t show up to court. They go on his property illegally and shoot the family dog. 14yo shoots back at unknown trespasser. They end up shooting the 14yo in the back and killing him. Snipers shooting at the door of house shoot and kill the mother (while she was holding the 10 month old). After a stand off eventually he’s arrested and sent to jail. All of this over a failure to appear in court for then “catching” him doing something that was barely wrong. Then Barr defends the sniper that murdered the mom. Press spins it as “dangerous white supremacists” deserves what they got.

6
MakeAmericaLegendary 6 points ago +6 / -0

Wow. That’s terrible.

7
MuricMAN 7 points ago +7 / -0

Yup. I’m from the area. True Idaho natives have not forgotten ruby ridge, and the anti-gov sentiment runs strong. Now if all these faggot transplants can figure it out it would be real nice.

7
RussianLimbaugh 7 points ago +7 / -0

Ruby Ridge, Waco, & the OKC bombing were spun with the same narrative the left is using to justify their BS today: nazis/white supremacists are everywhere, owning guns & being a militia are evil, if you don’t live on the grid & let us track you then you’re a danger to society.

it was after Waco I learned what the term "jitterbug" meant when it came to military tanks

“Jitterbugging” was used by US forces in Vietnam for a method of collapsing tunnels using a tank—by parking on top of the underground tunnels, and rotating the vehicle in place on it’s treads, or putting it in “neutral” and gunning the engine

at Waco, the FBI KNEW women and children had fled into underground tunnels

they jitterbugged the Waco tunnels on purpose, killing them all

Except your facts are consistently untrue.

US marshalls were illegally on the property trying to figure out how they were going to arrest Weaver. The dog started barking at them hiding in the bushes, so they shot the dog. The boys returned fire on their own property at people who had not identified themselves, and then ran. Marshalls shot the boy in the back.
