My commie north eastern state recently ran some radio ads about how great we are doing in the fight against Covid, so keep wearing your mask. If you actually look at the data we have a higher number of cases per million then Florida, but of course we can’t point that out because it might destroy our narrative that Florida is a death sentence because people don’t wear masks.
The fact that Florida is full of old people (The only group actually at risk for corona), and yet still has low deaths is pretty good evidence that lockdowns are the exact opposite of what we need.
