I used to live in Melbourne Australia around 5 years ago.
I left because of the nanny state, 40 dollar ciggies, fines everytime you go out, 2am lockouts at nightclubs, energy price increases due to green mandates etc...
It really is a nanny state on steroids and i dont regret leaving.
