I held out longer in the face of all this insanity than I ever thought possible. And for what?
I always knew my manager had serious personal flaws - to say the least about him - but I didn't realize he really cared so little for his employees. The stuff he's subjected the highschool and college kids who work for us to for the sake of squeezing a few extra $$$ under the shadow of the lockdowns.... let's just say, if I were one of their parents I would be sueing and pursuing charges.
He's a weak ass coward who is scared shitless of the covid, rants and raves about it hysterically on a daily basis.
It ruined everything good I had going for me.
I couldn't take it anymore.
Can't take the masks.
Can't take the retarded ass restrictions.
No more. I'm free.
But I had to lose a good thing because of it.
God, I've never wanted to hurt people so hard in all my life.

Honestly, I’ve always been pro-vaccine but after “omg fuckin anti-vaxxer lmao” being the fad the past couple years where everyone circle-jerked over how stupid anti-vaxxers are, I couldn’t help but take a step back and question whether or not vaccines are being pushed so hard for nefarious reasons (behind the curtain). I still don’t know that answer, but I’m suspicious. Are vaccines really the only thing we all agree on or are we all being falsely led?

I know plenty of people who stay at home and wear masks the whole time and brag about how they have everything delivered because "WE'RE NOT ASSHOLES..." and it never dawns on them how elitist they are to never give a thought to the people that make their stay-at-home life possible.

Everybody from my family is super paranoid around her, and they'll go for a "social distance coffee" where they bring their own coffee and talk to her through her kitchen window. It's just depressing.
I went once, but she hated it, so I rather call her now. But my fiancée had a uni assignment to interview her and I made clear we'd come inside, but sit in Pa's old study and just distance.
The moment I stepped inside she gave me the biggest hug I've ever gotten. Basically draped herself over me as soon as my shoes were off.

So true. My grandma still lives in Europe where restrictions are INSANE. So sad to call her and hear how she couldn't even take walks with freinds in summer weather.

I have a lung disease of unknown origin. It's been getting worse so they scheduled an MRI for me at the VA. The VA has some of the strictest COVID precautions of anywhere else I know.
They called today and cancelled because their MRI techs caught COVID.
Wearing a mask with a lung disease isn't easy. Wearing it for a bullshit reason is worsem. If they work, why did the techs catch it?

I personally think it is unwise to instantly dismiss any vaccine as dangerous. Some have had unintended consequences in the past, and it is good to be skeptical about these things. But I believe in the brilliant innovators who develop them (LETS GO OP WARP SPEED!!) Those people are working hard to make things safe. Its pretty dope that small pox and other diseases have been eradicated.
