The Associated Press reported that Trump himself connected with Palmer and Hartmann on Wednesday. Trump had publicly praised their initial vote against certification and called it an act of courage. But the pair reversed themselves and supported certification just moments after they were congratulated by the president.

No they did not. Calm down. I read the whole article. This is the old news from yesterday. They first said they wouldn't certify, Trump praised them for it and then they were smeared as racists. This resulted in them agreeing to certify under the condition of an audit.

NOW they have signed affidavits, stating, that they in fact DID NOT wish to certify and only agreed to do so due to the smears.
