I watched the whole thing, and I am confused as far as people saying they didn't change the rules. From my understanding the rules were changed slightly.
They spent most of their time deciding on changes for the manual that was part of the order of the recount. Meaning they had to abide by the manual. They didn't change much of the manual. Just 2 things. But after they made those changes, it was voted 6-0 to remove the manual from the order of the recount. Essentially making the manual irrelevant legally. Now they depend on the sanctions for the law.
How does this play out in a recount? Hoping someone knows more than I do here.
That sounds shady as heck. It's like in Michigan where those 2 GOP officials agreed to certify contingent on the Democrats performing a fill audit. As soon as the certification was signed off on, the Democrats said they weren't going to do an audit because the vote was now certified. It's screwing around like that that causes Republicans to lose. Don't ever, ever, ever compromise with them.
