I go back and forth between here and Reddit to make sure I’m not in a bubble and to be able to better articulate why the left is garbage. What I don’t understand is the recent claim on Reddit about the MI lawsuit being withdrawn. They’re claiming that it certifies the count, but everything here is saying the opposite and that it’s a good sign. Things are moving so fast, I’m not really sure where MI stands or what the lawsuit withdrawal means. Can any of you help?

watch the press conference with rudy that just happened. there are two lawsuits in which the trump campaign is the plaintiff in michigan. one was withdrawn because its purpose was to prevent certification. now that the board have refused to certify, that lawsuit can be withdrawn. there's a seperate lawsuit thats ongoing in MI concerning dominion
The lawsuit was withdrawn because it sought injunctive relief to prevent the Board in Wayne county from certifying the vote. Last night, 2 members of the Board rescinded their vote, and wayne cannot certify.
Thus the injunctive relief sought by the MI suit in question is now moot.
They have a second suit, for a decision on the merits which remains pending.
Anytime you see “injunction” in filing, do not consider that a “lawsuit.” Injunctions are a special process, in their own special courts in most states. A prelim injunction is entered and then A “mini trial” on an Order to Show Cause is held to determine whether final injunctive relief should be issued. Injunctions are granted quite sparingly by courts, and only when “immediate and irreparable harm” would visit a party in the absence of an injunction. Decisions on injunctive relief are not decisions on the merits. Nor is a court’s refusal to issue one an indicator tht the underlying Complaint lacks merit. A court can deny an injunction to a party and that party may still win the suit at trial.
I think the lawsuit was to stop certification. Trump withdrew the lawsuit because they rescinded the certification. The left will argue its certified and cant be rescinded. At worst there will be a legal battle about whether the votes are certified which is a different matter than the intent of Trumps original MI lawsuit. (i'm not certain this is just what I think is going on)
Yep I was confused too. It's like an Uno game.
