She lost credibility in my eyes when she did her last press conference defending Sioux Falls for issuing a local mandate, despite her previously saying the reason she never did was because she didn't feel the authority to issue such mandates existed.

So its illegal to violate personal liberties on a state level, but not on a city level? Um...k...

Also she completely misframed the mandate passing in Sioux Falls. It was NOT the citizens who voted for it. It was the City Council, which you could argue are representatives of the city who voted for them, however that is also wrong because the same council has brought it to vote several times. EVERYTIME they brought it to vote all the citizens showed up in force to say how they DID NOT want a mandate. But that same city council repeatedly, and in bad faith, continued to bring the SAME STUPID vote up, until finally they just said "Fuck it, we don't give a shit, we are passing it anyways".

Noem got credit early in the Covid BS because she was vocal against mandates, and just happened to have an entire state that happened to agree with her. But now that the line is breaking, she is backing down like a cuck. If she cared, she would stand in and say NO. NO MANDATES. If you pass an illegal mandate, you go to jail. YOU GO TO POUND YOU IN THE ASS JAIL! That's what she needs to do. Prosecute these commie fucks.

But no. She's proving to be weak.

DeSantis, who initially did have mandates, is proving to be much stronger than her because he has come out against it, and has issued EO's neutering localities. Unfortunately recent news shows they are ignoring him now (as of just today) so it will remain to be seen if he throws the hammer down on them for ignoring his EO's.

TL;DR - Not a single Governor, as of yet, as come out to fully show they will defend personal liberties, and will in most cases, allow Americans to be violated.
