Then Trump will appeal to supremes.

The Supremes will probably rule in his favor. Justices Ross, Wilson, Ballard, McGlown, Martin, Birdsong and Terrell will probably side with him, and that's the majority.

Then they'll perform a kick-ass Motown song in sequined evening gowns, it'll be epic!

They HAVE to appeal.

Doesn't matter the number of absentee ballots that were over-turned. What matters is that the absentee ballots were overturned period. The Democrats can't let that stand in court, or it opens them up for more litigation.

This is the way the game is played.

39
Knowmadicsoul 39 points ago +40 / -1

Seems to me that if the Dems let it stand, then all the areas where they allowed voters to cure their ballots or cast a new ballot will have to also be ruled invalid due to equal protections clause in the US Constitution. Ultimately, I think that's what Rudy is going for because Trump will win the state.

40
I_Love_45-70_Gov 40 points ago +41 / -1

And the SCOTUS has a long history of siding with the Equal Protections Clause.

Carry_Your_Name 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yep, that's the angle. The election officials have violated election laws first, all of these voting irregularities, removal of poll watchers, vote switching softwares and other anecdotal voter fraud allegations are the results of their violation, and they are all circumstantial evidence. You have to trace back to the origin.

1

Im hopeful, but wouldn't trust ACB as far as I can throw her. Literally her first act in the SCOTUS was to put her fingers in her ears and close her eyes and not weigh in on the Pennsylvania stay (leaving it 4-4), and that would have prevented a metric shit ton of this.

I'm hopeful, but there's no way in fuck I'll trust her unless she somehow makes Clarence Thomas look like a leftist in all of her rulings.

Sidenote: Anyone else hope that SCOTUS votes in favor of Trump and the majority opinion is written by Clarence Thomas, who then sends a copy of the opinion to Joe Biden taped to the top of a Coke can? It's not a pubic hair, but I think it'll get the message across.

60
UpTrump 60 points ago +61 / -1

ACB recused because she showed up in the middle of the case and didn't get to see and read all the briefs and evidence. I'll give her a pass there

35
lawyerpede93 35 points ago +36 / -1

Agreed. We need to remember that the SCOTUS isn't there to install Trump as President. Trump nominated Supreme Court Justices that will apply the law, not activists that will reason backwards from the conclusion they want.

It is a good thing that ACB recused and is doing things the proper way. Thankfully, we already know that if the laws are followed, Trump will be in the White House for 4 more years.

17
MagaroniNCheese 17 points ago +18 / -1

Agree with this. Remember that ACB is supposed to be a Constitutionalist. The big distinction for us here is that that does not mean she's with us 100% of the time.

Now, our positions are primarily constitutional, so she mostly will be. But on the occasion we want partisan support, she likely will not deliver, because she is (again, supposed to be) strictly a Constitutionalist.

I believe the general game now requires kid gloves off and us to endorse blatant partisans, but that usually does not stand at SCOTUS level (aside from the partisan leftists). So, it truly would have been improper for her to have ruled on a case that she had no formal briefing on, simply because we wanted her to so.

On point. Furthermore, she was the only one doing that out of 9. That alone should raise a red flag, and a big one at that. If she recused out of fear, she should have declined Trump's appointment instead of accepting the position then destroy America. If she recused out of malice, America shall see if that again reflected in her decision (or abstention) as Supreme Court justice soon. There were already enough crises without America's going through another Constitutional crisis. No need for Jeff Sessions 2.0, for life.

That is why they keep finding new votes for Biden in Pennsylvania, more than two weeks after the election.

20
Strike_Eagle784 20 points ago +21 / -1

I would assume so, as this would establish legal precedent. It's a significant small victory.

1
guitarzer0 1 point ago +1 / -0

legal precedent only flows to the courts directly beneath this one. sister courts are often persuaded by these rulings, but it does not create precedent that they would be bound by. however, rome wasnt built in a day, each one of these wins are important

8
FullAutoFlintlock 8 points ago +8 / -0

locals can use it as precedent in other jurisdictions, sure. could cause a wave of uncontested small wins.

7
PresidentErectHunter 7 points ago +7 / -0

Are the laws different in each county? If the laws are the same, this decision should be used to throw out all ballots with no date.

If there are 2000+ of these in one county, there should be more across the State.

4
I_Love_45-70_Gov 4 points ago +4 / -0

Allegheny County is the 2nd largest county in PA. A population of roughly 1,200,000. With 67 counties in PA, and a 45k vote lead, it does not look especially promising

However, if the algorithm does increase stolen votes from President Trump and given to Uncle Sniffy in an exponential manner, then the redder the county, the more votes that don't match/add up should appear for President Trump.

5

Primary goal is to take away states from Biden. Then you can build the larger case with the fraud caused by Dominion.

1
ChaplainTappman 1 point ago +1 / -0

I think the angle of Trump is that so long as Biden doesn't have 270 Electoral votes by December 9th or whenever, everything gets rendered moot. So, if Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and George never get to actually officially Certify their elections by the deadline, the whole electoral college will fail.

What do you want them to do, run in and steal a machine? Trump's law team are private citizens. They don't have the authority. When the legal team presents the case, they can ask for the judge to issue a subpoena or seizure warrant. Until then, their hands are tied unless a government agency steps in.

3
MisterClinton 3 points ago +4 / -1

Don’t demoralize yourself.

This is not even a lawsuit brought by the Trump campaign. The Trump lawsuit goes through the federal courts.

Every small victory matters. Take it or leave it. These small victory mean there’s shit in this election. And if we have enough of these small victories, it might be enough for the SCOTUS to realize the election is full of shit, and throw multiple state, even the entire election out.

Multi-tasking might be hard for an individual, but not for a team. The Dems exploited multiple vulnerabilities using a variety of methods, and all of these need to be investigated and addressed. Isn’t the Trump legal team already onto the voting machines?

This is a victory, but not exactly one worth doing the Toobin’ over. Hope and fight for the best, but prepare for the worst.

We need more of these.

9

Totally agree with you, this was a Nicole Ziccarelli lawsuit. The ruling said "This appeals court ruling overturns decisions by a common pleas judge and the elections board in Allegheny County.

Other aspects of the race are also under appeal and this ruling can also be appealed to the state supreme court."

If the Brewster campaign appeals to the PA Supreme Court we all know how the 5 Dems and 2 Reps will rule.

I'm in Allegheny County in PA. Liberal hell except for some MAGA suburbs but Pittsburgh and working class suburbs make it a Democrat stronghold. Killary beat Trump here by about 107K votes and apparently Biden won by 146K..that's BS. Trump increased his votes by 8.2% here compared to 2016 but Biden got 30% more than Clinton? But yet overall turnout was only 5% better than 2016. More BS.

Plus a few affluent suburbs flipped to blue and that hadn't been done since 1964. In fact, one of those affluent suburbs (5% poverty rate) had a bigger share of Biden votes than one town which is violent where 33% of residents live in poverty so they are dependant on the teat of government. That's never happened before in their election history.

Yeah I know demographics can change, its all BS..BS..and more BS. I don't believe any of it.

Just doesn't pass the smell test. Incumbent doing this should have been a guran-dam-teed MAGA landslide especially against an old, corrupt, weak ass Biden.
