Just got locked out of Twitter (again) for a one word response (again). This time all I did was reply "No." to Gov Newsome's pinned tweet demanding we wear masks. Now it's making me prove I'm not a "robot" and giving me no other option forward but to enter my phone #, which I never opted to give them in the past. This happened to any of you before? Haven't given them my # yet and considering just leaving twitter all together rather than doing so.

When it asks for mine, I close the browser, reopen it and go back. So far it hasn't asked me again in the same day. Don't know if we're dealing with the same thing though.

Thanks for reply but nah, it's demanding it as a step to get back into my account. Tried reopening browser/different browsers, once I'm logged in it jumps straight to "enter your phone number".
