I've been in Ohio for business this past week. The local news is non-stop stories of people ratting each other out over mask violations. I also had a clerk at a convenience store shout at me to stand behind some arbitrary mark on the floor (apparently I was within 5' of another customer) I put my shit down and walked out.

Not sure what the deal is here, my last visit (pre covid) was super pleasant. This feels more like east Germany circa 83.
