This would explain why the Dominion bought and paid for CIMA guy went out of his way to announce the election as on the up and up. He knows they are busted.

I am one who believes we have good government agencies running down the Dominion case.

I read somewhere tonight that the guy actually threw a watch party in Virginia - and invited Dominion people.

Bought and paid for indeed.

He released his finding on behalf of a board of collaboration. Nothing in official government capacity...which he tried to pass his fake report off of. Good...showed his true colors.

I've considered this before - the timing bugs me.

I don't see him doing anything before the states begin to certify - GA is supposed to as early as tomorrow, for example, barring an injunction or something.

If he waits the full 45 days, it'll be after the actual electoral college vote, just by a few days but after is after. If it comes out after, I mean Trump is still the president for a while but the vote has been cast - sounds like a straight up constitutional crisis at that point.

Unless it's just absolutely 100% certain (to Trump, not to us) that the report will come out before the full 45 days are up. Perhaps it's timed to come out after all states choose their electors, but before the electoral college meets. It'd be absolute chaos in the college, but even then, there'd be no guarantee that Trump comes out of it a winner.

Or is the play to force state legislatures to intervene? Elections are certified, report comes out, legislatures have no choice but to override/ignore the elections and choose R electors? But that one seems as much a gamble as just letting the college fight it out.

This one bugs the hell out of me, I keep going round and round with it and it's driving me insane. We clearly don't have all the info on this one.

Hell, it could just be a red herring and completely irrelevant. Hope that's not the case, though.
