The title of this post is spot on. I am in Australia and it's even obvious from here that the lock downs in the US are to suppress the masses from showing support for Trump in the streets.
They are also to suppress their own Antifa forces because our brand new Sec of Defense has basically signaled insurrection act is on the table and the last thing these lefty mayors and governors want is the Trump admin in charge of their national guard troops (State governors are commanders of their national guard unless...) and DHS tac squads who also now answer to sec def in their cities and states with zero ability to do anything about it,
They only happen in Blue Areas though, so I'm not really sure what that would help. I thought it was more about gutting their areas of Republicans and small business for some purpose.
It's almost like they're afraid these blue areas aren't as blue as they claim 🤔
Not only that, it's to try and set a precedent - if someone tells you to do x, y and z while brazenly not doing those things themselves, it makes you and the normies question it. If all these states implement curfews (even if the polit elite and cronies don't comply with their own rules) lots of normies think oh no! it must be serious and potentially start pushing for similar restrictions to be 'safer' in their own areas

Can host events coming out sharing Patriotic support for those institutions. Remoralization. Make a show that if these judiciary heroes do their job, they've got widespread support in their corner to push back against the psychopaths. Make it easy for them to sleep at night knowing their families are safe, they've got organized able bodies in the areas at their call whenever needed.
That remoralization work can be done openly and the media can pound sand. Can't demonize it.
Make it easy for the judiciary can go to war feeling safe their back is covered.

I don't get it, here in Korea nothing is closed, restaurants are packed, nobody wears masks inside restaurants, nobody really social distances, the subways here in Daegu put stickers on the seats, but nobody pays attention to them. Everyone here does wear masks... I'd say 98% of people do, but before the covids... about 50% of people wore them anyhow.
Just crazy to me that I'm not in America and it seems more free over here... :/
