I am seriously worried about all the widowed gramma types who will be spending their first Thanksgiving of their lives alone -- and maybe 'enjoying' a turkey TV dinner alone --because all of their young-uns are too terrified to visit them or have them come visit.

But the first time I realized shit with this covid thing was super fucked up was when they were telling people to stay away from churches but every night there were faggots in the streets rioting. When I heard the government was keeping people from attending funerals? And church sevices in general?
That made me come to my senses. I was like wtf, that's fucking against the constitution for sure. It doesn't matter if there's a damn virus or not. It's the peoples right to worship, assemble, speak whatever. It really should be at your own risk. All this done for a flu that 99% of people are recovering from too. It's still unbelievable to me we are where we are right now.
Was disappointed to find out my girlfriend doesn't seem to want to travel to see either her parents or mine for the holidays.
She seems really uncomfortable with the idea that she "might" infect them, despite the fact that she isn't personally worried about getting covid.
I asked her if she would ever drive my or her parents anywhere, to which she said yes without hesitation, despite the fact that she would be so much more likely to "kill" them in a car accident than infecting them with covid.
The more divided the citizens, the less likely they will fight back and the more isolated and and fearful they will be. They also tapped into our psychology by the threat that we could infect someone else. People don't wear masks to protect themselves, they wear them to protect the people in their community.
