ben shapiro, sargon of akkad, all these dudes are starting to become more and more establishment like. they are more careful, cleaner and more family friendly image. i think they just want to expand their business so they are becoming less edgy.

Sargon has genuinely matured and mellowed. I like both versions of him, but I almost obsessively followed his every vid in his early years. Lately though, I find myself tuning in less often. Sometimes he is principled to the point of sapping energy out of his presentations. It might be more responsible, but it sacrifices too much in the way of personality, humor, and entertainment value. I'll keep hoping for an eventual return to form.

yeah, they are all gonna be like dave rubin in the end, slick clean performative image that workd well with a wider audience. plus ur right, they mature. its like a punk band you have been listening to since ur teen years slowly becomes a radio rock band. its sad, but its just the way things go. as long as they dont become establishment shills im happy.

Carl (Sargon) heads up the Liberalist Movement. He loves GEOTUS, but he his own very spelled-out political philosophy that does not perfectly overlap with MAGA. Likewise, he's a straight-shooter when he chimes in on GEOTUS's victories and missteps. He sees Giuliani as having made some recent missteps. I think Giuliani, Powell, and the rest of the team have done about as well as can be expected with the Herculean tasks before them (legal proceedings tend to take months and years; not days and weeks) and the utterly unfair press coverage they've faced. Carl doesn't need to become a fluffer or cheerleader for everyone in the President's inner circle. They legal strategy of Trump's team requires a long game. In the short-run, they might occasionally look less than stellar. We should perhaps work a bit on thickening our skins and not jump the gun to turn on our favorite content creators just because they offer criticism at times.

We're actually in basic agreement that hus content has slipped. In this same thread, I also wrote, "Sargon has genuinely matured and mellowed.
