This is the correct answer. There wasn't enough time for a full recount before their deadline, so they did it by sampling the count. I don't know why this knowledge isn't more widespread.

They didn't recount. They didn't do anything the SoS said they'd do. Basically they grabbed a couple off the top, glanced over them, republican ballot watchers were at a 1:10 ratio (so absolutely useless), nobody verified signatures or anything resembling "verifying", and they ran them back through the machines. Our governor is refusing to call the legislature and we are 5 reps short to have the legislature call to act on their own. It's complete bullshit. We do have Lin Wood here, though, shitting all over the punch bowl.
You have to remember : they focused on this state to ensure a run off for both senate seats. The GOP establishment in GA were complicit in the scheme to ensure their positions as “essential” to the national and the traitorous assholes who put the voting system in are trying to cover up their crimes.
I'm just annoyed the final tally wasn't that different...I remember a few tweets and posts saying there was an issue with votes in Dekalb County, Biden accidentally got 11000 votes instead of 1100, which they found and allegedly fixed...so that's 9600 votes taken away.
You ask an excellent question. And that’s not the only state. I’ve kept a running tally of votes between the two of them for all the hotspot states. So far, I haven’t seen evidence of these so called thousands of vote changes.
A spreadsheet would be a good idea, I assume we can see the before/after vote tallies for each county so we can truly see if those vote changes were real in the first place, and/or if they counted them properly this time around.
For all the alleged mistakes they found I'm surprised the final tally was still so close.
All I kept track of was, what was the vote difference between the two of them at different days and times. And only for Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
Well, they did not have to print off new ballots this time. Makes sense.

Well..they found several thousand that never got counted..so...less time to recount MORE ballots.

Recounts simply recount the fraudulent ballots.
Recounts are a sham, just like the election.
Recanvas, audit, that's the only way to verify and certify.
First they have to fake the outcome. Once they've decided on the exact lie to tell, repeating it is easy.
