They will use it against you. This shows equal outcome vs equal opportunity.

Probably. My dad taught me stay away from the libtards. I will stick to that.

Pretty much this. Whataboutism is ultimately purposeless. Even if you 'win,' you lose. Probably the better point would be to ask them if we hypothetically had a one-world government, would they be cool with China and India calling all the shots just because they have f*ckload of people.

Exactly. I hate this damn image so much because people use it in their argument for "EquAlItY!". The damn picture shows three people committing a crime. The equality is actually the folks in the seats who bought a damn ticket.

I do agree. Electoral college votes being in favor of the massive states is pretty terrible

I'd put that at the founders never envisioning that a single CITY would have the population to not only sway but to outright control an entire state's electoral votes, and that state having literally 15 times the electoral votes of not just the lowest state, but the three states TIED for lowest.

This isn't a criticism. I'm positive that if someone showed them this nation's highways, airplanes, trucks, trains, ships, etc. of the modern world, which allow population concentrations that would have been completely impossible 100 years ago, they'd have put a geographical cap of some sort in place.

But hey, that's Los Angeles and San Francisco, dictating the fate of around 35% of the geographical area of the nation, for ya!

Now imagine if only land owners could vote, like it was originally.

How many land owners in California? How many in Wyoming?

The founders may even have thought of this and we fucked it up.

But you would first have to teach them that the Federal government was never meant to be this large and that the States were supposed to be mostly independent but equally represented at the federal level.

If they were sitting in the stands it wouldn’t be a problem.
