Yes you notice they never protest by living off the land. They are being heroic by laying in a $2,500 a night hotel room with a huge nice bed maids will make for you as you stink it up

Rich people can be anti-war/pro-peace as well, though. Trump, for example.

That's the first thing I thought: How badly did that room reek of BO and wasted potential?

They looked like they were withering away and it wasn't even a hunger strike. They were having breakfast lunch AND dinner in bed. Probably using bedpans too. Disgusting

At the Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam

You sure? They pulled a similar stunt in Toronto in 1969.

You might be right. I remember the Toronto episode because I was in Toronto at the time. John and Yoko were enthroned in a room at the posh Royal York Hotel (no cheap motels for them), laying in bed and dropping occasional nuggets of wisdom to adoring throngs of reporters and cameramen. They even hired a skywriter to put "War Is Over If You Want It" in the skies above the city.

Yes, Amsterdam Hilton. It's in the song lyrics to "The Ballad of John and Yoko."
